The revolution began more than 14 years ago when Academy Award-winning director James Cameron and Emmy Award-winning director of photography Vince Pace set out to revolutionize the entertainment experience. Since then, the two pioneers have gone on to become global leaders in 3D production.

CAMERON | PACE Group’s support of “Avatar” demonstrated 3D’s full potential as a creative and powerful storytelling medium. As the highest grossing film in history with more than $2.7 billion in global box office revenue, “Avatar” demonstrated the public’s response to immersive, powerful storytelling and set the gold standard in 3D entertainment.

CPG’s technology innovation has resulted in major 3D benchmarks recognized within the entertainment and sports production industry, including “Life of Pi,” “Hugo,” “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” and live 3D broadcasts of the 2013 CBS Sports Masters Golf Tournament, NBA Finals, US Open Tennis Championship, and more.

2011 marked the first time in history three movies from the same year hit the billion dollar mark, including two CPG-supported 3D productions: “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” It also marked the company’s first-ever Sports Emmy Award. CPG received the George Wensel Technical Achievement Award, which recognizes extraordinary technical innovation that enhances viewer experience, for its coverage of the US Open Tennis Championships in 3D.

To date, CPG-supported productions have generated more than $8.5 billion in global box office revenue and won multiple Oscars and Emmys for technical and creative achievements, including three Best Cinematography Oscars in four years.

CAMERON | PACE Group continues to deliver the most immersive, engaging and high quality 3D entertainment available to global audiences.
